If it's just a matter of "technical difficulties" with the printing, why not charge the same for a DRM online copy and make it available now? While I was with them they sold millions of dollars worth of books (and a book I authored sold 25,000 copies, which for a computer book in 1981, wasn't too shabby for a kid my age.)
