Bunny Backlash?
by MikeGeneOkay, I need to fill in some details. I showed up to give a seminar and told the crowd I had no more copies of the DM to hand out. Things quickly got out of hand. And if you'll notice, a Teacher in the crowd was able to exploit the ensuing chaos to assault me. I'm thinking that next time, I might need a disguise.

That must have been a harrowing experience, since the door you left from was clearly "NOT AN EXIT".

The typical Catholic response to ID seems to be, "it's wrong". I'm Catholic and chat alot with Catholic friends who are priests, general theologians, philosophers, sociologists. They tend to have a negative view on Intelligent Design. I'm not saying all Catholics feel this way - but of those aforementioned disciplines the Catholics I speak with don't have a favorable view. Anyone know why this might be the reason?
There's actually a few of them (profs of philosophy and sociology) that I am going to be giving Mike's new book too. Mike seems to be a very honest person and he makes it pretty clear that he is not trying to advance a cultural change agenda - so maybe they'd be more willing to consider the ideas.

Two reasons Doug. Its founding fathers were largely Protestant and they lack an adaquate conception of what ID is. Their understanding stems from the propaganda put forth by ID critics.

So, why does reproductive isolation prove that organisms are different species, again?

"The results were a surprise because although the giraffes look different, if you put them in zoos, they breed freely."
