"All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed."
Richard Adams, Watership Down (MacMillan, 1972), p. 24

Other than Bugs Bunny (who was "wascally"), I never thought of wabbits as being very "cunning and full of tricks."
I always thought of them as making good stew though. Yum! (Oh shit! Now PETA's gonna be all over me!)

When the rabbit was so popular, when he hit so popular, and I was working with the stutterer, you know, I envied the other guys who were working with the rabbit. - Frank Tashlin

Okay, Mike, what is the obsession you have with Rabbits? Did you get bitten as a child or something? Were you frightened by the killer rabbit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

There is no one reason I like rabbits. In fact, there are many reasons. In this case, it's a nice example of prepa.
