    Still working my way through The Design Matrix. It's so substantive and well thought out, that I find myself highlighting something in nearly every paragraph. I'm somewhere in chapter 8, right now. Great book, Mike.

    Thanks, Bilbo. Since I was trying to convey a new perspective on this debate (a perspective I've had all along), I thought it important to saturate the book with new arguments and new twists on old arguments, yet maintain a sense of continuity among it all. As you are finding out, it's not just about the front-loading and a scoring system.

    Just so I'm clear, I did enjoy your book. I more or less panned it over at ARN because of a single flaw in your reasoning, but otherwise I found the book enjoyable, sensible, and intellectually stimulating.
