I appreciate Mike Gene’s avoidance of the whole issue of making such intuitions or impressions formal. I think of our intuitions and impressions as being honed (however imprecisely) by evolution, and are not to be presumptively discounted as “subjective.” The problem of any one of us surviving on such a basis is just the same problem as all of us surviving—on the same basis.

I don’t presumptively dismiss peoples “subjective” evaluations of what is/not designed. I think we have evolved to make such “subjective” decisions because they are critical to our continued survival.

So, I’ll resist the temptation to call it all “cheese.” LOL
