The post-wedge world doesn't look a lot different as we won't see the end to pseudoscientific attacks on evolution education in public schools. Who wants to take bets that there won't be a big push to include the DI's Explore Evolution as a biology textbook in Texas? The new chair of the Texas Board of Education, Don McElroy, made it clear that while in his view IDism is a "big tent", there's no room in it for theistic evolutionists, because "ID is opposed to evolution".

Aagcobb, you misunderstood me, if you thought I was hinting that we can get ID taught in schools by political means. Actually, I wanted to get this on my blog, but I couldn't figure out how to copy it. I'll try when I get more time. Thanks Mike and Krauze.
