Give gonorrhea to your loved ones

Immunobloggin tells me about Giant Microbes, which sells plush animals of various microbes. Besides gonorrhea, they also carry the common cold, E. coli, yeast, and my personal favorite, the Black Death. Whether for the laboratory or for the kid dreaming of becoming a scientists, these are sure to be a hit under the Christmas tree. (Although the biologist in me can't help wonder why mad cow disease, which is caused by misshaped proteins, is included as a microbe.)
