After years of arguing with hundreds of ID critics, I have discovered that the vast majority make little or no effort to understand the points they argue against. Instead, they either ignore the important points, arguments, and distinctions or spin them into straw. What's more, regardless of what is posted, they exert most of their energy and time arguing with a variety stereotypes that exist as part of their melodramatic dreamscape. Given their fondness for ignoring what is there, spinning rhetorical gold strands out of thin air, and a love of shadow-boxing with the phantoms of their minds, I thought I would provide a posting that best fits their needs. The critic is now free to make me say whatever his conditioning would have me say, reading his meaning into my gibberish. Uorapol wyualpso lotiuas jutos twpqo dru tep qpotsy jwi amio. This just proves that ID is an argument from ignorance.

Why is the text all garbled non-sense on my computer? Is there something wrong with my comp, or is this a joke of some kind?

Just answer me this Mike Gene and then I will get off your back:

    Who designed the designer?

Whose ignorance? It is clear the "ignorance" belongs to the anti-IDists. IDists know how IC and CSI can originate. Anti-IDists appear not to be able to explain it without referencing intelligence or design.

Are IDists "ignorant" because evolutionists can't substantiate their claims? That seems backwards.

    matt_nadler:
    Who designed the designer???

How is that relevant to anything? Then explain why the designer required designing.

BTW- great post MikeGene. It most certainly appears that when IDists talk all ID critics and anti-IDists hear is what is heard on "Peanuts" cartoons when adulkts talk- "Waaa, waa waa waa waa, waaa waa."

The reason may be, that you perhaps didn't read it :)

    Joe G,
While I do see that MG's blog was filed under "The Debate," I interpreted it as "Humor." I was just playing along. :) Those were questions I've answered enough times myself, and this was a blog I could relate to. I am not a sophisticated ID critic.

That above post was mine. (apparently it had switched logins)

And it says far too much about my weaknesses that I've responded four times to a post of gibberish. Good day!

    Hey Mike,

Your point is well taken. Hopefully, however, there are those out there who actually try to understand what is being said. They just won't be the critics.

This post reminds me of a book that came out while I was in seminary written by Jorgen Moltmann. The translation from German was so attrocious that one could read anything into the text one wanted to. As a result the book was highly popular where unsuprisingly everyone thought Moltmann suppported their position.

Clever post. Brilliant, even. I would expect anti-ID types to miss the message, since it is obvious detecting design amidst random clutter is NOT SCIENCE.
