I suppose the book should have a warning label.

Mike, did you get a chance to see that video with Vic Morrow? Pretty disturbing stuff. Then, considering how Landis actually ended that segment in the movie…. wow, talk about a smack in the face to Morrow.

Since this is an open thread…

Could an administrator offer a brief explanation of how the moderation queue works?

    Chuckdz,
don't muck up this thread. This is the Vic Morrow death thread….
You are allowed to bring up issues relating only to Vic Morrow. I will allow an occassional 'nod of notice' to Bud Dwyer and Christine Chubbuck.
    But please!!!! Stay on topic.

chunkdz, there are keywords (phrases?) which trigger a spam alert. Others know them better than me but I can tell you that more than 95% (my unofficial estimate) of the suspected spam is indeed spam.

    Thanks, Bradford, for the info.

But Doug, what does Morrow have to do with Dwyer and Chubbock? He didn't commit suicide.

    Yes he did!
If you look really closely on the footage (avaible at youtube) you can clearly see him throwing a handful of sand in the helicopter's pilot's face…. causing him to lose his vision (temporarily) which in turn caused him to lose control of the whirrly bird.
With the intention of having the chopper hit him.
