Oo, open thread. Dawkins is appearing in Doctor Who at the weekend (UK anyway)! I only just found out he is married to one of the Doctor's old assistants.

What? Pixie, explain this one. Is Doctor Who still in syndication in the UK? Is Dawkins in one the episodes? Is he really married to one of the previous actors?

There's a new Doctor Who.

Dawkins' wife is Lalla Ward. She played Time Lady Romana on the original show back in the 70s.
