The First Endorsement

by MikeGene

Mike Gene. It's not his real name, and no one knows if he is a he or a she, but none of that matters, because it's his (or her) book in any case. And never underestimate the power of the arguments of a pseudonymous Internet persona - I know I don't.

    Douglas!!!
Where has he been? I don't go to ARN much anymore, so don't know if he still posts over there.

    Hi Mike,

    'Bout time; cool! I'll take one… *cha-ching*

Are you worried, assuming this thing takes off, that your secret identity will be revealed. What about the lecture circuit, etc., etc.? I guess you could just get yourself a bunny costume and one of those voice disguiser things. Now, that's something I'd pay to see. "Stop laughing at me, I'm serious!" Lol.

    Seriously though, any concerns?

    Hi Rob,

Actually, I have not thought about that too much, as I guess that would be a good problem/dilemma. But yes, wouldn't it be funny if I gave a serious talk in a rabbit suit. If I had to point to something on the screen, I could hop over to it. I can't say that I would rule that out.

EB suits are in no way fun for the person inside the EB suit. Whenever Easter came around for our troupe, we'd let the trainees do the hard stuff - EB and the Sacrificial Clown.

Sacrificial Clown is harder, since he's the guy the rotten yacht club/resort kids try to kill each year. Good training. EB just needed enough heft to sweat off 20 pounds and be able to stay alive for 4 hours on only 2 or 3 gallons of Gatorade… §;o)

You can do the colbert report in a bunny outfit. That would be ironically "normal".
