Touching a Raw Nerve
by MikeGeneOver at Dawkins' site, they finally got around to posting the interview with the Adawkinsist, Dr. Tommyrot. The first four out of five commentators liked it, where one guy writes, "Don't you hate it when the Dark Side gets so clever?" Richard Dawkins himself shows up. Apparently, he didn't like it:
Clever?
What's clever about it?
Even the accent sounds more like Peter Atkins than me, although I admit it is at least better than the one they used on South Park.
From then on, most of the Dawkins' Fans either bash the interview or admit, with embarrassment, that they thought it was, well, somewhat funny.

Check out the BCSE's Roger Stanyard in the comments, trying to discredit David Anderson, who originally came up with the idea of "Does Dawkins exist?", saying that he "should be watched like a hawk."
I can't help but think of Agent Smith in the interrogation scene in The Matrix:
"As you can see, we've had our eye on you for some time now, Mr. Anderson. "

Popping my head above the parapet…
I never saw "The Matrix". It was about a year before I worked out why so many people started saying these weird things to me… even my postman was at it. I just thought the world had gone nuts.
One day I was browsing the Internet, and I a random website I'd never visited before had a banner said "You have a problem with security, Mr. Anderson". That really spooked me.

Why is it that so many "pro-reason" people come across as neo-McCarthyists?
