LOL!!! What a great piece of video! We have had doves for several decades (along with little white bunnies when the neighbor kids weren't releasing them), for use in various magic tricks. I have told my grandson the many cool stories I've heard from dove breeders about how much doves hate snakes. They gang up on 'em and will kill any snake that dares enter the breeding coop, with a significant degree of prejudice.

I tell that story whenever someone tries to list the differences between hawks and doves in a political debate. No, snakes are not the usual diet of doves. But it's not like they won't defend themselves…

Ever since Jimmy Carter's highly publicized encounter with a vicious aquatic attack-rabbit, I don't put anything past 'em.

"Doves hate snakes." A little Biblical symbolism is always nice.
